Micah Frey, LPC-A

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Welcome, my name is Micah Frey. I recognize the bravery and strength it takes to ask for help, show up for yourself, and pursue healing. I understand that reaching out for counseling can feel daunting, and I want you to know that your feelings are valid.

I specialize in working with college students, young adults, and couples navigating betrayal trauma, infidelity, and sexual addiction. I’m also an APSATS candidate, bringing specialized training in sex addiction therapy and trauma recovery. My approach centers on story work — helping you move from seen to known — so that you can process what’s happened, reclaim your narrative, and build genuine connection.

I work from a person-centered, attachment-informed perspective, drawing on frameworks like Internal Family Systems (IFS), inner child work, CBT, and trauma-sensitive care. Here, you will find a safe space where your feelings, thoughts, and struggles are valued and understood.

Outside of counseling, I’m passionate about creativity and connection. I’m an artist working across multiple mediums—watercolor, acrylic, and oil—a wife, mother, and grandmother, deeply committed to faith and community. These parts of my own journey inform how I show up for the people I work with—with authenticity, hope, and the belief that healing is possible.

It is an honor to walk this journey with you.
