Kerri Whitman, LPC-A

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Supervised by Jana Windle, M. Ed, LPC-S

I welcome clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, or life changes. My style is down-to-earth and collaborative, using CBT and strengths-based approaches to help clients build healthier routines, manage emotions, and feel more confident in themselves.

Along with my counseling work, I serve as the Assistant Director of the Accessibility Resource Center at Lamar University, where I oversee accessibility services and work closely with students, faculty, and staff. My experiences in this role inspired me to go back to school so I could better understand and support my students, and that same passion now guides me as a counselor. Through both higher education and counseling, I’ve seen how important it is to have someone in your corner, encouraging you to find your voice and recognize your strengths.

As a wife and mom of three, I am continually reminded of the value of balance, connection, and resilience. These lessons shape the way I approach therapy — with empathy, understanding, and a belief that growth is possible even in the most challenging seasons of life.
