Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Supervised by Tracy Williams, LPC-S
I am excited to roll my sleeves up and help clients wade through the tough to get to the good. Building a sound therapeutic relationship is the first and most important step to reaching client goals.
I am a licensed professional counselor-associate with a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. My love for people and the desire to see the move from surviving in life to thriving is what motivates me to embark on the journey of healing and self-discovery with my clients.
I use an integrative approach which includes cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy (SFT), person-centered, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). We will collaborate and establish a well-rounded toolbox to help improve quality of life and provide mechanisms for managing mental health and well-being. I believe that there is a unique path for each individual and not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Clients would say that I am empathetic, compassionate, and warm. I believe that all progress should be celebrated, no matter how insignificant it may appear. I am deeply committed to building a safe and trusting relationship with my clients. I want my clients to feel heard and supported while working together to reach their goals. My sincere hope and desire is for every client to walk away better off than when our journey began.
